Revitalization of the company premises
We do not just want to be a sparse industrial area. We want to be a company where its employees feel comfortable and which, at the same time, contributes to a better environment in its surroundings.
Did you know that, in the past, our ancestors used leafy trees to provide shade in the summer and in the winter, when there was little light, the leaves fell from the trees so that the sun could reach dark corners more easily? Everything happened naturally and in harmony with nature and the annual cycle. That is why we, at NIKOMI, decided to plant an avenue of deciduous trees right at the entrance to our company in Považany.

A million trees for slovakia
“The one who plants trees, knowing that he will never sit in their shade, has at least started to understand the meaning of life!” Rabindranath Tagore
On 22 October 2022, the company NIKOMI s.r.o. became part of the nationwide project “A million trees for Slovakia”, where we became “TREE HEROES”. Together with the foresters from Čierny Váh we planted 2,000 trees, including spruce, beech, red spruce, and elm, in the region (1,650 on our own, 350 planted by foresters).
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this project and thus contribute to the development of the environment in Slovakia. We are happy to give back the gift from nature, or at least a part of it, through this work. Special thanks go to our colleagues, who participated in this collective event, for being so excited about this idea that they were willing to sacrifice their time and effort for the good of future generations.

One small step for the company, one giant leap for us
We made a decision. We are convinced that, as a company, we should positively contribute to the community which we live in.
At the entrance to the premises of NIKOMI s.r.o. we have placed an AED (automated external defibrillator) registered with the national defibrillator network. It can be used on both children and adults.
